Hospital Pre Authorisation

If you or one of your registered dependants require hospitalisation, a MRI, CT or bone density scan, the Society should be contacted immediately on the toll-free number 0800 111 669 and supplied with the following information:

Membership (Policy) Number.
The name of the hospital to which the patient is being admitted.
The date of admission.
The name and telephone number of the patient’s admitting doctor.
The reason for hospital admission.
Name and date of birth of the patient to be admitted.
Member’s home and work telephone number.

Alternatively, for authorisation to a non Medi-Clinic hospital (in the case of an emergency or where the nearest Medi-Clinic is a far distance away), contact:
